A’s TO YOUR Q’s
What is Lipocontour Ultrasound Cavitation? What can I expect?Lipocontour Ultrasound Cavitation is a new, revolutionary European fat removal technique that does NOT involve surgery - there is no need for anesthesia, hospital stay or time off work. Lipocontour Ultrasound Cavitation causes microscopic air bubbles to surround the lipocyte (fat cell) membranes and with its resonant sound frequency, the bubbles cause a high enough pressure in the fat cells to begin to break up. The broken lipocytes are then moved to the surrounding drainage systems and safely metabolized out of human body. It produces lipolysis (the dissolving of) fatty acids from adipocytes (fat-laden cells) due to a phenomenon known as stable cavitation, and increased cell permeability of the fat cells. Finally, some content of adipocytes is metabolized by the liver and eliminated in the urine, so it is always recommended drinking plenty of water both the day of treatment and subsequent days. The procedure works to remove superficial fat and fat accumulation that is non-volumetric. Results can be noticed after just a few treatments or more, depending on multiple variables like current body condition, diet, exercise, age, etc.
